We can do more together. Divided we fall.
Problem 1:
The people are driven to positions of division. Civil discourse has broken down and the masses fail to seek and align on common ground to move the People’s agenda forward. Representatives often neglect their constituents once in office falling prey to lobbyist and other financial influence.

- So simple. Where are you from and what do you care about?
- Be sure to check out the results links after submission.
- Our engagement with the political process should suck less.
- We will summarize the voice of the people regularly and use location specific responses to drive meaningful efforts with our representatives.
- We the People need to step up our game.
- Do your part, participate. Can be in-person or just taking part in the quarterly online process.
- Check out the citizen engagement links below. Know your representatives and their committees. Setup alerts for bills and resolutions. Learn to act when you can influence the conversation versus complaining about a vote.
- Speaking with our vote every 2, 4 or 6 years is old school thinking. The meaningful feedback window from the people to our representatives needs to be shorter, perhaps quarterly.
Problem 2:
People are easily manipulated, influenced and taken advantage of by biased media outlets. There is no labeling when a “news” broadcast moves from reporting facts to sharing their opinion.
- Think freely, seek facts and truth. Keep your sources broad. Decide for yourself.
- Be aware and mindful of mainstream opinion programming. See the illusion offered in your tuned newsfeeds and timelines. Spot omissions changing your perspective through manipulated search results.
- Look for and be notices the bias across the different media outlets (links to the Media Bias Chart).
- Are you led by a favorite news channel? We ask you to reflect on the news sources you choose. Consider social media, local and network news, print, radio and others.
